This button gives you options for adding and changing columns in a theme's table. You can copy the table structure from another theme or coverage (this allows you to make two themes
mergeable)
or add new columns whose names and attributes you specify.
Launch Attribute Editor button
This launches the Attribute Entry dialog, which allows you to visually add and edit attributes by choosing the feature you want on the display and editing its tabular (table) attributes in the dialog. You can use this menu to edit the attributes of polygon, point, or line shapefiles, as well as add, move, and delete features in a point shapefile.
