Survey Entry - Editing survey pairs

If you realize that one of the pairs you have entered has a mistake in it, you can edit it by highlighting it in the scrolling survey list box on the right and clicking the 'Edit' button. The pair will be moved into the 'Enter Survey Pairs' boxes that you use to enter new pairs, and you can edit it until it is correct. This is called 'Edit mode'. You will notice that some of the buttons on the menu are grayed out and some have changed their names. This is to make sure that you finish editing the pair before you continue. When you are done fixing the pair, click 'Update' to enter your changes. If you decide you want to keep the pair as it was before you started editing it, click 'Unedit', and if you want to delete the pair you are editing from the list entirely, click 'Cut Pair'.

You can edit a curve the same way, only the editing will take place in the Insert Curve dialog. When you are done editing a curve, click ‘Apply Edits’ to enter your corrected pair into the list, or ‘Cancel Edits’ to replace the pair as it was before you chose to edit it.
